Unicorn Hilo Company Takes Home Top Prize for Technological Innovation in 2024

The Hailo-15 artificial intelligence processors are the most efficient processors in the world when it comes to performance versus cost and power consumption. With a processing power of up to 20 tera operations per second (TOPS), these processors enable the utilization of AI capabilities to enhance image and video quality as well as to conduct advanced video analysis without compromising on performance.

One key feature of the Hailo-15 processors is the ability to perform video analysis directly in the camera, rather than in the cloud. This not only saves video bandwidth but also significantly reduces the cost of deploying cameras on a large scale. Additionally, processing data on the end device promotes privacy by only sending anonymous information to the cloud, thus enhancing security.

Hailo, founded in February 2017, has been recognized for its leadership in technology and innovation. The company offers AI processing solutions for various industries including automotive, retail, and security. With offices in multiple countries and a wide network of distributors, Hailo’s products serve over 300 customers worldwide.

The Hailo processors, such as the Hailo-15 model, are designed to revolutionize computing architecture and enable smart devices to perform complex deep learning tasks with minimal power consumption, size, and cost. These processors are ideal for integration into smart machines and devices across sectors like automotive, security, computing, industry 4.0, and retail.

In recent years, Hailo has secured significant funding and launched high-performance GenAI accelerators, showcasing its commitment to bringing powerful AI processing capabilities to various applications and markets. With a growing team of over 250 employees, the company continues to expand and innovate in the field of artificial intelligence.
