Uniforms and sports equipment stolen from Stoneham, MA High School – NBC Boston

Stoneham High School in Massachusetts is facing a crisis as their upcoming season is in jeopardy due to a misunderstanding that led to their uniforms and equipment being taken. The Athletics Department of the school has reached out for help finding the missing items that were taken during an alumni event that took place on Tuesday.

During the event, alumni were allowed to walk through the school building as it will be torn down this summer to make way for a new facility for the upcoming school year. The athletics department explained that the locker rooms were locked during the event, but alumni managed to gain access and take uniforms and equipment. It is unclear how they were able to do this and the department has asked for any information about the missing items to be shared.

The school is unable to afford new uniforms and equipment, which puts their upcoming season at serious risk. They have made public pleas on social media and through local news outlets for the return of the stolen items. Stoneham police have also shared the message in hopes of finding whoever took the equipment.
