On April 18, 2024, the graduates of Health Sciences LEAP (HS LEAP) were honored at a special event attended by their friends and families to celebrate their educational achievement. The ceremony began with a poster presentation by third-year Health Sciences LEAP students, followed by a delightful dinner provided by a local small business. The program concluded with remarks from LEAP Interim Director Seetha Veeraghanta and the presentation of program certificates by Health Sciences LEAP Instructor Erica Rojas. Professor Rojas also reflected on the program’s impact over the years and congratulated the students as they prepared to move on to the next chapter of their lives.
Past graduates of LEAP have gone on to pursue graduate degrees from various schools within the health sciences campus and have entered into diverse careers in fields such as medicine, dentistry, research, and therapy. These accomplished individuals are poised to make a significant impact on the lives of patients and communities as they continue on their professional journeys.
