Highly sought-after defensive lineman Max Granville from Fort Bend Christian Academy in Texas is drawing interest from some of the most prestigious college football programs in the country, including USC. Granville has received offers from powerhouse schools such as Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others. With so many options available, Granville will have the opportunity to choose where he wants to continue his football career, and USC appears to be a top contender.

Hailing from Sugar Land, Texas, Granville has already made a name for himself on the field with an impressive high school career. In just two years, the Class of 2025 prospect has accumulated 160 tackles, 32.5 sacks, 14 pass breakups, and nine forced fumbles. His family has a strong athletic background as well, with his mother Gretchen playing volleyball at N.C. State, his brother Zion currently playing linebacker at Illinois, and his father Billy having a successful football career as an all-state player in Texas, a captain at Duke, and an NFL player with the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans.

Granville recently visited USC on June 7, with upcoming visits scheduled for Texas A&M on June 13 and Oklahoma on June 21. Despite predictions from On3’s Steve Wiltfong favoring Texas A&M to secure Granville’s commitment over Oklahoma, USC, and Penn State, the highly talented defensive lineman has yet to make a final decision.
