In sports news, San Rafael’s Alex Valasek improved his record to 5-0 this season with a complete-game performance, leading the Pacifics to a 14-6 victory over the Dublin Leprechauns. Mark Hernandez had three hits, and other players like Esai Santos, Aki Buckson, Beau Dorman, and John Bicos contributed with two hits each. The Pacifics are currently 21-9 and on a winning streak, leading the Pacific Division by 4 1/2 games. They will host Vallejo at Albert Park on Saturday at 6 p.m.

In Little League, Twin Cities and Novato North are the only undefeated teams in the District 3 All Stars 9-10s standings. Twin Cities had a close 1-0 win over Mill Valley, while Novato North defeated San Francisco National 8-7 to stay tied for first place. Novato South also won their match and is now in a three-way tie for second place with Tiburon Peninsula and Mill Valley. West Marin picked up a crucial win over Ross Valley.

In the District 3 All Stars 11s standings, Twin Cities is in first place after a 16-4 victory over Novato South. Mill Valley bounced back with a 15-0 win over West Marin, and Novato North secured a 9-3 win over Ross Valley. Gallinas Valley also won their match against San Rafael, keeping them in contention.
