Valoe’s general meeting was interrupted and will be rescheduled for a later time

A solar technology company in the midst of restructuring, Valoen, held its general meeting in Mikkeli today. The meeting decided that the current board of directors, consisting of Hannu Savisalo, Ville Parpola, Tuomas Honkamäki, and Iikka Savisalo, will remain in place for this year. Additionally, the board was given the authority to determine new share issues until July 2025.

The agenda for the general meeting included discussing last year’s financial statements, confirming the results of the last financial year, deciding on dividend distribution, and granting discharges from liability. However, these decisions could not be made as the company currently does not have an auditor. The previous auditor resigned in December 2023, and a new replacement has not yet been chosen.

Due to the lack of an auditor, the general meeting decided to suspend further discussions and postpone decisions about the auditor’s fee and selection to the next meeting. The board of directors will convene a follow-up meeting at a later date to address these unresolved issues.

Valoen is currently undergoing restructuring, with details outlined in an article published by Kauppalehti earlier today. The company is in a state of transition, and the general meeting’s decisions reflect the need for ongoing adjustments and improvements.
