Ventura County Fairgrounds buzzing with X Games action and adrenaline

Excitement is in the air at the Ventura County Fairgrounds as extreme sports athletes from around the world showcase their skills in BMX, Moto, and Skate events. The lineup features top athletes like Nyjah Huston, Arisa Trew, Reese Nelson, Ryan Williams, Kevin Peraza, Hannah Roberts, Colby Raha, Axell Hodges, and Jackson Strong, some of whom are X Games and Olympic champions.

Valerie Ryan, Vice President of X Games Fan Experience and Hospitality, expressed her excitement over this year’s competition, highlighting improvements from last year’s event. There is now twice the amount of space, better concessions, live music included in every GA ticket, and more interactive activities and professional demos for attendees to enjoy. New to next year’s event is the addition of wakeskate competition, a unique water-based alternative to skateboarding.

Local residents like Scott Christopher are thrilled to have the X Games taking place nearby, capturing unforgettable moments like motorcycles soaring 50 feet in the air during the Moto X events. In addition to the thrilling competitions, attendees can enjoy live music performances on the main stage each afternoon and evening, with DJ Kaskade headlining on Saturday night.
