Veterinary Clinic Speaks Out Following Building Damage That Forced Closure of Multiple Businesses

Antelope Creek Veterinary Clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska is facing challenges after parts of their building were declared unsafe by Lincoln Building and Safety. The clinic, located on Pioneers Boulevard, received a red notice nearly three months ago due to the back side of the building crumbling into a nearby ravine. Building and Safety attributed the damage to a burst water pipe under the clinic, although it was initially believed to be caused by weather changes like melting snow.

Rochelle Schrock, the Practice Manager at the Vet Clinic, has been with the clinic for almost 30 years and described the damage as unprecedented. Despite the setback, the clinic is seeking support from its sister clinic, Pitts Veterinary Clinic, to continue operations. The community has also rallied around the clinic, providing encouragement and assistance during this challenging time.

As they wait for approval from the city to move operations into a large trailer in their parking lot, Antelope Creek Veterinary Clinic remains determined to serve their clients and care for their animals. With the outpouring of support from the community and neighboring veterinary clinic, the clinic hopes to overcome this obstacle and continue providing quality care to their patients.
