Vidya Rao, the former chief information officer at Genpact, has been promoted to the position of chief technology and transformation officer. This move signifies her increased responsibility and involvement in enhancing Genpact’s data capabilities. Additionally, a media report stated that she will be instrumental in establishing a robust data office within the company.
Alongside Rao’s promotion, Vipin Gairola has joined Genpact as the global operating officer. His role will entail overseeing global client operations, as well as leading analytics, data, and technology initiatives for the company.
Rao’s career began at Blue Chip Computer Consultants before she transitioned to roles at prestigious companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Accenture. Her extensive experience has made her a valuable asset to Genpact, where she has also served as a board member at Micro Focus.
