VisiTech, a technology public-relations firm, acquired by Comprise – BizWest

Comprise, a full-service public-relations and marketing agency, has announced the acquisition of VisiTech Inc. VisiTech, founded in 1998, specializes in technology public relations as per a Comprise news release. As part of the acquisition, the VisiTech team will join Comprise, with VisiTech CEO Lisa Tafolla taking on the role of a strategic business adviser.

Comprise CEO Doyle Albee expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating that VisiTech’s skills, relationships, expertise, and client base are complementary to Comprise’s existing business. The acquisition deal, structured as an asset purchase agreement with undisclosed terms, is expected to close on May 1.

In a statement, Lisa Tafolla highlighted the success of VisiTech over the years, attributing it to recognizing and hiring excellent people. She expressed her confidence in the Comprise team, emphasizing that their clients will benefit from fresh energy, an expanded service offering, and excellent care from the extended team. Tafolla also pointed out that both agencies share a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
