Vladimir Putin discloses that 700,000 Russian soldiers are involved in the Russia-Ukraine conflict

During his annual year-end press conference last December, Putin disclosed that 617,000 Russian soldiers had participated in combat operations in Ukraine, with 244,000 of them being drafted.
