We are seeking solvers for the 2024 Bio-Inspired Sensor Technology projects

The Bio-inspired sensor technology challenge was launched in October 2023 with a focus on finding solutions in neuromorphic sensors for Detection & Tracking applications. Neuromorphic sensors imitate the functionality of the retina, similar to the human eye. This category includes event-based sensors that react to changes in light intensity, sensors that mimic the dynamics of the human eye, and sensors that use neuromorphic processing.

The winners of the challenge were awarded a 12-month contract for direct collaboration with Leonardo. The EYE-TECH start-up from Carrara, led by Monica Vatteroni and Andrea Raggi, presented the EYE2DRIVE – Building the digital EYE project.
