Labor Economist Ryan Whitesides will discuss the various components of Idaho’s rural economy during the upcoming Idaho Department of Labor webinar on Tuesday, February 13. The webinar will take place from 11 a.m. to noon MT.
Whitesides expressed that the rural economy in Idaho can have different meanings for different people and is made up of demographics, population, land, public and private industry, farms, ranches, forests, national monuments, community gateways to national parks, and other elements.
