Stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries had a mixed weekly performance. The Dubai market index saw a slight decline of 0.05% to 4244.15 points, while the Abu Dhabi market rose by 0.1% to 9237.26 points. The Saudi market index closed the week with a 1.1% increase at 12,705 points. However, the Kuwait market declined by 0.75%, closing at 7271.82 points. The Kuwait Stock Exchange was closed for a holiday on Thursday but will resume trading on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
In Bahrain, the general index of the Bahrain Stock Exchange decreased by 1.67% to 2021.54 points. Similarly, the Qatar Stock Exchange index fell by 1.28% to 9816.30 points. In Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange index saw a slight increase of 0.16% to 4680.67 points.
