WellSync enables Publix customers to access fast telehealth services for just $25

Publix customers can now access a virtual telehealth service powered by WellSync, allowing them to fill out an online health questionnaire for medical care by a licensed provider without having to make an appointment and from the comfort of their home, according to a release issued by Publix Super Markets Inc. Dain Rusk, Publix vice president of pharmacy, stated that Publix Pharmacy continues to remove barriers so customers can receive convenient health care services. The company aims to provide services that meet the needs of their valued customers who expect convenience.

WellSync is available to anyone age 18 or older for common health conditions such as allergies, sinus infections, and hair loss, among others. The online service costs $25 per consultation and patients do not need insurance to utilize it. Customers can visit publix.com/easycare to access the WellSync site, select their medical condition, complete a questionnaire about their symptoms, and submit it for review by a licensed medical provider. Providers can typically respond to submissions within an hour on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Patients may also use the service to refill certain medications, which can be filled at a Publix Pharmacy. Customers can create a Publix Pharmacy account through rx.publix.com or by downloading the Publix Pharmacy app to manage and pay for their prescriptions online. The app offers refill reminders, curbside pickup, drive-thru, and delivery services where available. Publix Pharmacy also administers vaccines for flu, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, and COVID-19, as well as medication for pets, and provides kiosks to drop off unused prescriptions. With over 1,300 locations throughout the grocer’s eight-state operating area, Publix Pharmacy aims to provide convenient and comprehensive health services to their customers.
