West Seattle Crime Watch had four reports, beginning with two business burglaries. The first incident involved a crash-and-grab burglary at the Morgan Junction Domino’s just after 3 am. Police responded to what was reported as a crash, but it turned out to be a burglary. No significant damage was reported, but the safe was taken.
Another pizza burglary occurred at A Pizza Mart at 35th and Roxbury during the 8am hour. According to the report, police were called due to a damaged door, which turned out to be a burglary.
A reader emailed a photo and report of a dumped safe seen south of The Junction. It is unclear if this is the Domino’s safe, but it was found “in the alley between California and 42nd, south of Edmunds.”
Lastly, a car prowler was interrupted by Peter just before 5 am. He reported scaring off a car prowler in a white truck in the North Admiral/Schmitz Park area (55th and Charlestown). Peter was able to see them checking handles of cars with their lights off before he scared them off.
