What is Oklahoma’s offensive ranking in EA Sports College Football 25?

EA Sports is set to release “College Football 25” on July 19, marking the return of the beloved college football video game series. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the game and are excited to see what it has in store.

In a recent announcement, EA released its offensive rankings for the 25 best offenses in the game, with the Oklahoma Sooners making the list. The Sooners are ranked as the 23rd best offense in 2024 and the 8th best offense in the SEC. This ranking follows some changes in the coaching staff, with Seth Littrell and Joe Jon Finley taking over as co-offensive coordinators after Jeff Lebby’s departure.

The Sooners have had some changes on the field as well, with quarterback Dillon Gabriel transferring this offseason. Jackson Arnold is expected to step into the quarterback role and lead the team. The offensive line is a key focus for the Sooners, as they will have five new starters compared to last year, with Cayden Green’s departure being a significant loss.

In terms of the passing game, the Sooners have seen some players leave, but have a strong returning group including Jalil Farooq, Andrel Anthony, Nic Anderson, and Jayden Gibson. Transfer Deion Burks has joined the team, adding to the offensive weapons at their disposal.

In the run game, the Sooners have lost Tawee Walker and Marcus Major to the transfer portal. Gavin Sawchuk is expected to take the lead at running back, with Jovantae Barnes providing support as a change-of-pace back. Despite these changes, the Sooners are expected to have a strong offensive lineup in “College Football 25”.

With an 83 overall offense rating in the game, tied with some other top programs, the Sooners have the potential to excel if the offensive line performs well.
