The countdown to the Paris Olympics has officially begun as the Games are just 100 days away. Competitions are set to start on July 24, with the Opening Ceremony kicking off the festivities on July 26. This two-week global competition will feature numerous sports, countries, and athletes, with live coverage available on NBC and Peacock.
The action will start with men’s rugby and men’s soccer matches on July 24, while the final medals will be awarded on Day 16 of the Games on August 11. Following this will be the Closing Ceremony. To celebrate the 100-day countdown, Team USA athletes were asked to guess the Olympic sport a professional mime was performing in a fun video challenge.
The Paris Olympics’ Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 26, starting at 8:24 PM local time (2:24 PM ET). The first competitions will begin on July 24, two days before the Opening Ceremony.
