Microsoft is preparing to introduce a new feature to Windows 11 called Super Resolution, with the goal of enhancing the gaming experience. This feature was discovered in a hidden setting in a preview version of Windows 11, which is scheduled to be released later this year. The plan is to seamlessly integrate Super Resolution into Windows 11, making it easy to improve the quality of games. This hint was found in a test version of the upcoming Windows 11 update.
Windows 11 will receive a boost from Super Resolution, which utilizes AI technology. According to a tip from @PhantomOfEarth on Twitter, this feature will automatically enhance the visuals of games using advanced technology. It’s also possible to customize the feature for each game to ensure optimal performance.
Another tech enthusiast, @Thebookisclosed, discovered this feature in the preview version of Windows 11 and shared a video on X. Those who are interested in trying it out can use the ViveTool, which is available for download from GitHub.
To activate the feature, users will need to open the command prompt as an administrator and enter the activation key: vivetool /enable /id:39695921 /variant:3. This should be done after installing the tool. Once the key is entered and the computer is restarted, the feature should be fully operational.
