Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team are making significant strides on the recruiting trail. They have already secured commitments from 4-star shooting guard Jamari Phillips and have multiple recruiting visits lined up for this month. The latest addition to their visitor list is blue-chip prospect Winters Grady, a 4-star small forward ranked as the No. 13 SF in the class of 2025, standing at six feet six inches tall.

Grady’s height makes him a threat as a shooter, while his lean frame at 185 pounds gives him agility on the wing. He recently scheduled official visits with both the Oregon Ducks and the Oklahoma Sooners, showing his interest in both programs. Grady received an offer from Oregon just two weeks ago, and it seems he is intrigued by the possibility of becoming a Duck. He also holds offers from Creighton, Michigan, and other schools.

Playing his high school basketball at Prolific Prep in Napa, California, Grady hails from Lake Oswego, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. Returning to his home state for college could be a draw for Grady, potentially making Oregon an appealing choice for him. While it is early in the recruiting cycle, the Ducks have yet to secure any commitments from the class of 2025. Following a disappointing 2024 recruiting class, the addition of a player like Grady could significantly bolster their roster.

Overall, if Oregon can make a strong impression on Grady during his official visit, it could greatly benefit the team’s recruiting efforts for the class of 2025. The recruitment of promising talents like Grady signals the Ducks’ commitment to building a strong team in the coming years.
