Saturday, May 4, will mark the 15th Annual World Labyrinth Day, a global event where people come together to walk a labyrinth for peace. This year, participants are encouraged to “Walk as One at 1” by walking a labyrinth at 1 pm in their local time zone.
Locally, Trinity Episcopal Church will be hosting an event at its labyrinth located behind the church near the gazebo. The easiest way to access the labyrinth is by using the church’s shared driveway with Newtown Hook & Ladder, at 12 Church Hill Road. Participants can access the labyrinth from the northern end of the parking lot.
The goal of World Labyrinth Day is to create a wave of unified healing energy around the world. All are welcome to join members of the church for the event that afternoon. Reservations are not required, and those interested can find more information by contacting the church office at 203-426-9070 or visiting their website at trinitynewtownct.org.
Trinity Episcopal Church is excited to be a part of World Labyrinth Day, and encourages everyone to join them at their labyrinth for this special event.
