Sega has announced the Sonic Symphony World Tour, a concert experience honoring the timeless music of Sonic the Hedgehog. The tour will begin on September 16th at London’s Barbican Hall and continue until 2024. “Sonic Symphony is an immersive concert experience that celebrates more than 30 years of timeless music from Sega’s iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise,” said Sega in a news release.
The concert experience will take fans on a musical journey through the universe of Sonic. From classic 8-bit and 16-bit tunes to rock and EDM songs, each live show features epic gameplay footage in sync with the music, allowing fans to relive their favorite moments through song. Co-produced by SEGA, soundtrec, SOHO Live, and MGP Live, the Sonic Symphony World Tour will only have two announced dates and locations so far.
Advance tickets for subscribers of the Sonic Symphony newsletter will go on sale on May 25th at 10:00 a.m. local time, with general tickets available on May 26th at the same time. If you want to purchase tickets, you’ll need to act fast. Those interested in staying up-to-date on upcoming tour dates can do so on the official Sonic Symphony website.
