Wukong: A Highlight of Summer Game Fest 2024’s New Features

The Summer Game Fest 2024 featured several exciting announcements from the video game sector, showcasing titles set to be released later this year. Some of the highlights included the new Lego Horizon Adventures, Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, and Black Myth: Wukong. This annual event, overseen by Geoff Keighley, took place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles and offered fans a sneak peek at upcoming games.

One of the first reveals was the new Lego Horizon Adventures game from PlayStation, featuring the popular character Aloy from Guerrilla Games. This adventure will be available for PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch during Christmas this year. Additionally, No More Room In Hell 2, a cooperative horror title, is set to launch on PC later in 2024.

Fans were also treated to a new sports game, Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, which focuses on the popular sport of Quidditch. This game, developed by Unbroken Studios, will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on September 3. The event also showcased the seventh installment of Civilization, slated for release in 2025.

Other notable announcements included Star Wars Outlaws, launching on August 30, and Monster Hunter Wilds coming in 2025. Capcom revealed a new trailer for Street Fighter 6, introducing new characters to the roster. Additionally, Batman Arkham Shadow for Virtual Reality and titles like The First Descendant, Sonic X Shadow Generation, and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess were also highlighted.

The event concluded with Phantom Blade Zero from S-Game, showcasing high-speed combat gameplay. Titles such as Dark and Darker, Unknown 9 Awakening, Killer Bean, and Wanderstop from Annapurna rounded out the exciting lineup of games revealed at the Summer Game Fest 2024.
