WWE and Indiana Sports Corp. have teamed up to bring WWE’s three largest stadium events, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania, to Indianapolis. This partnership, the first of its kind, will kick off with the Royal Rumble being held on Feb. 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium. In the following years, a two-night SummerSlam and a two-night WrestleMania will also take place at the stadium.

WWE, which is part of TKO Group Holdings, estimates that WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble have a combined economic impact of over $300 million. The partnership also includes WWE television shows, Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, as well as live events in cities like Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville throughout the duration of the partnership.

President of Indiana Sports Corp., Patrick Talty, expressed excitement about the partnership with WWE, stating that it aligns with the city’s sports strategy of bringing in visitors and media coverage. Indiana Sports Corp., established in 1979, has a history of hosting over 500 national and international sporting events, including Super Bowl XLVI and the College Football Playoff National Championship. These events have resulted in more than $4 billion in direct spending in the community overall.

The collaboration between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp. is set to bring thrilling entertainment to Indianapolis and create significant economic benefits for the community. With the hosting of major events like Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania, the city looks forward to showcasing itself on an international stage and continuing to attract visitors through sports entertainment.
