Wyatt Langford, Rookie for the Rangers, Achieves Rare Feat of Hitting for the Cycle in First MLB Game of 2024 Season

Texas Rangers rookie Wyatt Langford had an incredible performance during the team’s 11-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball.” The 22-year-old hit for the cycle, starting with a triple in the fourth inning, followed by a double in the fifth, a single in the sixth, and a home run in the eighth off Matt Krook.

This marked Langford’s first four-hit game in the major leagues, showcasing his talent on a national stage. With four home runs, nine doubles, and four triples, he has been an impactful player in his 58 games this season, despite missing time with a hamstring injury in May.
