Since arriving as a free agent two months ago, Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney has made a strong impression on the team as both a player and a leader. Not only has McKinney impressed the organization, but he has also been wowed by the talent within the defensive secondary. During an offseason workout, McKinney commended his fellow teammates, stating that this group is the best he’s been a part of and that the talent level is exceptional.

The Packers have added several talented players to their defensive secondary, including draft picks Javon Bullard, Evan Williams, and Kitan Oladapo. With the return of six cornerbacks and safeties who have seen game time in the past two seasons, McKinney is excited about the potential of this unit. Key players like McKinney and Jaire Alexander, along with former first-round pick Eric Stokes, are expected to make an impact, with young talent like Kalen King also showing promise.

McKinney has taken on a leadership role within the group, with younger players looking to him for advice and guidance. He has been sharing his knowledge and experience with the team, helping them develop their skills on the field. As the team prepares for the upcoming season, McKinney is optimistic about the potential of this talented group of players and looks forward to seeing what they can achieve together.
