The June edition of my rest-of-season position rankings and overall top 300 for 5×5 leagues is here. Apologies for being a couple of days late, but I had to find a new No. 1 overall player due to recent changes. Surprisingly, there are only about 120 players in the majors capable of hitting right now, despite several top pitchers being injured.

In the outfielder rest-of-season rankings, Ronald Acuña Jr. has dropped off due to injury, while Michael Harris II is showing some concerning trends. Harris’s shift to the top of the Braves lineup against right-handers could boost his value, especially once other key players like Austin Riley and Matt Olson improve their performance. However, Harris’s approach and power have worsened since his debut in 2022, causing some uncertainty about his future potential.

Wyatt Langford holds his position in the rankings due to his power potential and promising contact numbers, especially considering he only played 42 minor league games before entering the majors. With Evan Carter sidelined for at least a month with a back injury, Langford’s path to success seems clearer and closer.

The White Sox’s decision to promote 26-year-old Duke Ellis from Double-A came as a surprise, given his modest batting statistics in the minors. However, Ellis is known for his base-stealing abilities, going 34-for-35 at the start of this season. While Ellis may not hit well enough to secure regular playing time, his speed could provide a valuable source of steals if he gets the opportunity in the White Sox outfield.
