The Restore and Recover Yoga event, organized by Ohio State Recreational Sports in partnership with the university’s Collegiate Recovery Community, aims to raise awareness about substance abuse recovery. This event is part of the National Recovery Month, which focuses on educating the American public about addiction treatment and services. The event is not limited to those seeking recovery and provides an opportunity for individuals to de-stress and reflect. Participants will receive a yoga mat and other prizes from smartwater, the event sponsor. It is an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and connect with a supportive community. The event will take place on the lawn in front of the Tom W. Davis Clock Tower from 8 to 9:30 p.m., offering a yoga class, giveaways, and recovery resources. In case of bad weather, the event will be relocated to the North Recreation Center. Registration for the event can be accessed through Ohio State’s Recreational Registrar.
