The Lake Charles-based daiquiri chain is expanding to Youngsville as part of a commercial development near Sugar Mill Pond. Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan who also own Paradise Grill & Daiquiris, purchased 6.2 acres for over $2.8 million from Young’s Industries to build a new location.
The Trahans plan to divide the land into five lots, with their business located on the southern end of the property. They intend to sell the remaining lots to other businesses and hope to start construction in the fall. Additionally, they had previously bought land in Youngsville in 2022 but later sold it.
In 2022, the Trahans purchased 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near the Metairie Center shopping center for $555,000. They ultimately sold it for $800,000 to a Baton Rouge-based development group. The decision to sell was prompted by an offer that came in right before construction was set to begin.
The Trahans have plans to further expand their daiquiri chain in the Lafayette area by adding five or six additional locations, as well as expanding to Baton Rouge. Currently, Paradise Grill & Daiquiris has locations in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, and Sulphur, with another Lake Charles location set to open on May 1st.
