Zadar Company Donates Technology to Schools to Educate Future Hotel Industry Professionals

Rentlio, a platform for managing accommodation units based in Zadar, has entered into a partnership agreement with the Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education (ASOO). This partnership makes Rentlio Pro, their system for managing hotel operations, available to all vocational schools in Croatia. The goal of this cooperation is to enhance the education system and improve the training of future hoteliers in a competitive labor market.

Every year, Croatia faces a shortage of professional staff in the tourism sector, leading many companies to import labor from other countries. By utilizing the Rentlio Pro system, vocational schools can provide education and practical training on modern cloud technology, replacing outdated hotel systems and revolutionizing the management of hotel operations. While around 40 out of a hundred schools in the “Tourism and Hospitality” sector have implemented the system so far, other interested schools can still request access.

Rentlio also offers free training on how to use their system for all schools and teachers. This partnership between Rentlio and ASOO aims to guide educational policymakers in shaping effective education strategies that align with the demands of the evolving labor market. Through digitalizing the tourism industry, Rentlio hopes to contribute to the creation of a more competitive, digitally literate, and modern hospitality sector in Croatia.

As part of this collaboration, Rentlio has become a partner of the national competition for high school students called WorldSkills Croatia. This initiative allows secondary vocational schools in the tourism and catering sector to practice and work with the hotel operations management system, preparing students for competitions and equipping them with essential skills for future employment.
