Rising in-state athlete Zayne DeSouza received an offer from Colorado football after showcasing his skills at the Buffs’ summer elite camp. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 255 pounds, the Loveland High School standout is listed as a tight end/defensive end, but is likely to play on the offensive side in college. In his junior year at Red Wolves, he accumulated 330 receiving yards and one touchdown in 11 games.

Ranked as a three-star athlete by 247Sports, DeSouza is considered the eighth-best prospect in Colorado’s 2025 recruiting class. Along with the offer from Colorado, he has also received offers from Northern Colorado and Washington State. Other standouts from the Colorado elite camp include wide receiver Jeremiah Hoffman, WR/TE Landon Wolny, and defensive back Jack Offerdahl. Wolny, a rising sophomore from Naples, Florida, also received an offer from Colorado following the camp.
