Noah Lyles, the current world champion in the men’s 100m and 200m, is gearing up for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. This weekend, he will be competing at the World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24 on May 4th and 5th, taking another step towards his goal.

Lyles will be leading the U.S. men’s team in Nassau, along with Tokyo 2020 silver medallist in the 100m, Kenny Bednarek, and Courtney Lindsey, who currently holds the world lead in the 200m for 2024. The fourth member of their 4x100m relay team is yet to be announced.

This will be Lyles’ third time competing at the World Relays, after finishing as part of runner-up squads for the U.S. in both 2017 and 2019. The men’s 4x100m relay heats will be held at 20:25 local Nassau time on Saturday, with the repechage round taking place at 19:05 on Sunday for teams that don’t automatically qualify for the finals. The men’s final is set for 21:40 on Sunday.
