The Philadelphia Eagles have secured star wide receiver A.J. Brown for the long term by signing him to a three-year, $96 million contract extension with $84 million guaranteed. This deal makes Brown the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, earning $32 million per season. The agreement was brokered by Tory Dandy of CAA, making this Brown’s third contract at the age of 27.

Since joining the Eagles, Brown has excelled, putting up impressive numbers on the field. Last season, he recorded 1,456 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. In 2022, he had a career-high 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns, leading the team to the Super Bowl. His outstanding performance has solidified his place as a key player for Philadelphia.

Despite rumors of discontent and trade requests following the Eagles’ playoff loss, Brown affirmed his commitment to the team in February. He expressed his desire to remain in Philadelphia and his satisfaction with the team’s culture. With this new contract extension, Brown will continue to be a cornerstone of the Eagles’ roster through the 2029 season.

Teaming up with quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is also under contract for the foreseeable future, Brown is poised to lead the Eagles to success in the NFC East. Their partnership promises to be a dominant force in the league moving forward.
