The American Academy of Nursing is currently seeking abstract submissions for the 2024 Health Policy Conference: Courageous Transformations Towards an Equitable Future Conference. The event is scheduled to take place from October 31 to November 2, 2024, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
The focus of the conference is on exploring the power of courageous transformations in shaping the future of healthcare. Topics to be discussed include virtual health, community-based partnerships, and the economic value of nursing in working towards a more equitable future. Participants can look forward to gaining insights into leadership strategies for effecting systemic change and promoting well-being from a range of interprofessional thought leaders in policy and practice. These leaders will share key interventions aimed at advancing health equity and transforming the way healthcare is funded, provided, and accessed.
The Academy aims to engage a diverse audience including Fellows, nurses, students, policymakers, and other stakeholders in meaningful discussions to better equip participants to collaborate effectively and take decisive action in advocating for evidence-based policy solutions. Abstract submissions are requested by June 7, 2024, before 11:59 p.m. ET for consideration.
