Kylie Gregory, a sophomore at Webster Thomas High School, has been named the Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Girls Sports Athlete of the Week. She received nearly 15,000 votes for her impressive performance in two Section V flag football games where she scored three touchdown runs for the undefeated Titans.
Every Monday during the spring season, polls are launched on democratandchronicle.com to nominate and select the Athlete of the Week based on the top performances from the previous week. The winner is determined by public votes, and the individual who receives the most support is honored as Section V’s best athlete.
Voting for the Athlete of the Week remains open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and the winners are announced first on the newspaper’s Instagram page, which can be found at instagram.com/dandcsports. Be sure to cast your vote to show support for the outstanding student-athletes in the Section V community.
