All set for the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile

The latest edition of the Salone del Mobile is expected to see a record number of entries, kicking off this morning at the Rho fair. A crowd of people is already waiting at the turnstiles to enter the pavilions where the most important international event in the world of design will be held from today until the 21st. This edition is enriched by the Bathroom and Kitchen biennials, as well as the special birthday celebration of the satellite salon: 25 years of showcasing young creatives’ work.

Three large installations, including one by David Lynch, will focus on water sustainability, food design, and neuroscience. With a total of 1,950 exhibitors from 35 countries covering a surface area of 174,457 m2, this edition promises to be a spectacular showcase of design innovation. The ribbon cutting ceremony of the 62nd edition of the show will be led by Maria Porro, with the presence of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso and Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanché, along with other local institutions.

In the afternoon, the Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida is also expected to attend. The Salone del Mobile promises a vibrant and creative atmosphere, with a wide range of exhibitors and installations to explore.
