President Joe Biden has signed a $95 billion aid package providing military assistance to Ukraine after months of negotiations and debates. The measure, approved by the Senate, includes nearly $61 billion in aid to Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel, and $8 billion for the Indo-Pacific region. Biden announced that the first tranche of aid to Ukraine would be sent within hours of signing the legislation.

In addition to the aid package for Ukraine, Biden urged Israel to allow Palestinians access to humanitarian aid without delay. The focus on providing support to Ukraine comes amidst tensions with Russia and the ongoing conflict in the region. The aid package is seen as crucial to Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression.

The signing of this legislation marks a significant step in US foreign policy and support for its allies in the region. It reinforces the commitment of the United States to promoting security and stability in key areas of the world. The aid package also reflects the ongoing diplomatic efforts of the Biden administration to address global challenges and conflicts.
