Proforma (asi/300094) continues to expand its team with new promotional talent. The Top 40 distributor has hired Bori Ly as vice president of business development. In this role, Ly will work closely with the business development team and company founder Greg Muzzillo to enhance the firm’s recruiting efforts.
Ly joins Proforma from Top 40 distributor American Solutions for Business (ASB, asi/120075), where he served as regional vice president of strategic operations support. During his time at ASB, Ly coached sales representatives in securing national accounts and selling e-commerce solutions. Prior to ASB, he worked as a national sales manager at Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) for five years.
Muzzillo expressed confidence in Ly’s ability to help expand Proforma’s recruiting efforts and drive growth among distributor owners. Ly was drawn to Proforma by the company’s $30 million investment in technology, which he believes will support affiliates in securing large enterprise accounts and e-commerce clients.
This hiring announcement follows Proforma’s recent additions to their team, including Meg Erber as director of sales in February 2023 and Charity Gibson as chief marketing officer in August 2023. Proforma, with reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $620 million, ranks fifth on Counselor’s list of top distributors in the industry.
