CAACC Health Centers to Honor Special Month with Observance | Local News, Sports, Employment

The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County’s Health Centers are celebrating Women’s Health Month in May at five locations in the county. Existing and new patients are encouraged to schedule appointments for various medical services including primary care, physicals, health checks, gynecological care, prenatal care/family planning, and blood testing.

To book an appointment during Women’s Health Month, individuals can call 330-424-5686. The CAACC Health Centers are situated at different locations in Lisbon, East Liverpool, Salem, and Salineville. Patients visiting any of these centers between Monday, May 13, and the end of the month will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a Women’s Health gift basket.

The Health, Behavioral Health, and Dental Centers run by CAACC are federally-qualified and welcome all county residents regardless of their ability to pay. Patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance can be seen, and a sliding fee scale based on family income is available for uninsured individuals.

The staff at CAACC’s Health Centers, including medical professionals such as Dr. Kristi Johnson, OB-GYN, and Mallory Smith, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, are dedicated to providing quality care to women in the community. The gift basket drawing is a way to celebrate Women’s Health Month and show appreciation for patients who prioritize their health and well-being.
