Californian Warriors and Kings to host sixth annual California Classic summer league for NBA prospects – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

The NBA’s sixth annual California Classic will have a new format this summer. The Kings and Warriors have announced that they will be hosting an expanded dual California Classic summer league event in both Sacramento and San Francisco. This event will feature three days of action at Golden 1 Center from July 6 to 9, showcasing the Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. Meanwhile, events at Chase Center will take place from July 6 to 10, with the Warriors, Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat participating.

A total of 12 games will be played during this event, featuring rookies from the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, sophomore players, and others looking to make NBA and G League rosters. The final game of the event will be between the Warriors and Kings on July 10 at Chase Center, highlighting the Northern California rivalry.

Modified game play rules, such as 10-minute quarters, will be implemented during the games. Team rosters, game matchups, entertainment, fan activations, broadcast information, and additional ticket options will be announced at a later date. For more information, visit the event’s official website.
