The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has finalized a three-year media rights agreement with Midco Sports Plus, set to begin during the 2024-25 regular season. As part of this agreement, Midco Sports Plus will stream the regular season games as well as the Mason Cup quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship on a direct-to-consumer branded digital network known as CCHA TV.
In a statement, CCHA Commissioner Don Lucia expressed excitement about the partnership with Midco Sports and the opportunity to work together to grow the CCHA brand. CCHA TV will serve as a one-stop shop for all digital content related to the CCHA, providing exclusive live and on-demand coverage of member school events. Fans can anticipate over 180 live events to be streamed through CCHA TV on the Midco Sports Plus app annually.
CCHA TV will become available for subscription in September, offering fans new monthly and annual subscription options. The upcoming season schedules for CCHA will be released on May 7th. Viewers can access CCHA TV powered by Midco Sports Plus through mobile/tablet apps, connected TV device apps, and a web-based browser interface.
