Dave Guiler, the owner of Premier Entertainment Group LLC, was honored as The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year during an award luncheon for Small Business Week 2024. Guiler expressed his gratitude for the recognition, attributing the success to the dedication and hard work of his team. He also highlighted the importance of educating the community about the services Premier Entertainment Group provides for large concerts and events locally and nationally. Guiler expressed pride in representing Dothan and the entertainment industry as a whole through this prestigious award.
Guiler was chosen from a group of finalists that included Joshue Bane of Evergreen Creative Co., Reginald Greenwood of Sister’s Soul Express, and Sandi Hodge of Shute Pecan Co. Inc. Walt Ellis, the Membership Development Council chairman of Wiregrass Wealth Management, emphasized the significance of honoring small business owners who often feel overlooked and underappreciated. He commended the Chamber for recognizing their contributions to the Wiregrass area and praised all four finalists for their deserving recognition.
Throughout the rest of the week, various events are scheduled, including Surprise Patrol Visits to local businesses and a Women’s Night Out event at the Chamber.
