ECU Health in Greenville, N.C. is currently seeking feedback from community members across eastern North Carolina on its Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). Conducted every three years, the assessment helps identify the most important health issues affecting the region. This feedback allows ECU Health to better understand the community’s concerns and tailor efforts to promote wellness and address critical health challenges.

The CHNA survey is open to all community members aged 15 and older and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential, and the feedback provided helps ensure that health care needs are met in the 29 counties served by ECU Health. The survey will be open until June 7, 2024.

The CHNA process involves collecting and analyzing comprehensive data on demographics, socioeconomic factors, and health-related statistics. While these insights are valuable, the most important feedback comes directly from community members themselves. The results of the completed CHNA analysis serve as a basis for prioritizing strategies to improve the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina.

The survey is available in both English and Spanish on the ECU Health website at ECUHealth.org/CHNA. By participating in the survey, community members can play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in eastern North Carolina.
