Tomoa Narasaki and Akiyo Noguchi, the renowned figures in Japanese comp climbing, have an impressive home climbing gym that is fit for royalty. Magnus Midtbø recently visited their gym in rural Japan and shared his experience in a video. The facility features three commercial gym-sized bouldering walls, an 18-meter lead wall, a full-sized speed wall, and a spacious training room with weights and exercise equipment. Midtbø expressed awe at the gym, calling it the craziest he has ever seen and expressing his desire to have something similar for himself.

Narasaki has achieved significant success in his comp-climbing career, winning gold medals at various Boulder World Cups and World Championships. He has also secured a spot in the upcoming Paris Olympics after placing fourth in the Tokyo Olympics. Noguchi, on the other hand, is a highly decorated comp-climbing boulderer who has retired from the sport. She holds an impressive record of 21 gold medals in World Cup and World Championship Boulder competitions, making her one of the most successful athletes in the sport. Her remarkable career also includes numerous silver and bronze medals in Boulder and Lead competitions. Her achievements have left a lasting impact on the climbing community.
