Foxtrot, a brand that was recently merged with Dom’s Hospitality in Chicago, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, resulting in the closure of its stores in Texas, D.C., and Illinois. All Dallas locations of Foxtrot have been marked as permanently closed on Google Maps, and the brand’s website has been taken down.

The news first surfaced in the newsletter Snaxshot, which mentioned that Dom’s did not place its usual grocery order the previous week. Employees of Foxtrot were informed of the closure during a conference call on Tuesday morning and were instructed not to discuss it with customers. The company, which has around 1,000 workers across multiple states, appointed a new CEO in February 2024.

Foxtrot had four locations in Dallas, with the most recent one on Greenville Ave. and others on Knox-Henderson, in Uptown on Hillcrest, and on McKinney. As of press time, a representative for Eater Dallas had not received a response to their request for comment.
