The Washougal Studio Artists will be hosting their annual Spring Studio Tour this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is perfectly timed for those looking for Mother’s Day gift ideas. Over at Magenta Theater on 1108 Main St. in Vancouver, “Steel Magnolias” will be playing from Friday through May 19th. This play follows the lives of six extraordinary women, highlighting their friendships, laughter, and the strength they draw from one another. The Reprise Choir Sings co-directors, April Duvic and Janet Reiter-Galbraith, will be performing a concert titled “One Piano, Four Hands, Two Divas” at First United Methodist Church on 401 E. 33rd St. in Vancouver at 3 p.m. on Sunday. They will be playing several four-hand piano duets, singing duets, and performing solo piano and vocal pieces. The program includes works or arrangements by Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, and Brahms. A $20 suggested donation is requested, and all proceeds will benefit Reprise Choir Sings.
