The Washougal Studio Artists will be hosting their annual Spring Studio Tour this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is perfectly timed for those looking for Mother’s Day gift ideas. The tour will showcase the work of 23 local artists at seven studio locations. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their inspiration, and creative process. The tour will feature original works in fused glass, textiles, bronze sculpture, painting, jewelry, and mixed media. Over at Magenta Theater on 1108 Main St. in Vancouver, “Steel Magnolias” will be playing from Friday through May 19th. This play follows the lives of six extraordinary women, highlighting their friendships, laughter, and the strength they draw from one another. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. on May 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, with 2 p.m. matinees on May 5, 12, and 19. Tickets can be purchased for $25 at magentatheater.com or $28 at the door.

The Reprise Choir Sings co-directors, April Duvic and Janet Reiter-Galbraith, will be performing a concert titled “One Piano, Four Hands, Two Divas” at First United Methodist Church on 401 E. 33rd St. in Vancouver at 3 p.m. on Sunday. They will be playing several four-hand piano duets, singing duets, and performing solo piano and vocal pieces. The program includes works or arrangements by Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, and Brahms. A $20 suggested donation is requested, and all proceeds will benefit Reprise Choir Sings. At Love Street Playhouse located at 126 Loves Ave. in Woodland, “The Sunshine Boys” will be showing through May 19th. The play follows Al and Willie, former top-billed vaudevillians who are now estranged. A grudging reunion brings them back together when CBS invites them to host a “History of Comedy” retrospective. The showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as on May 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays and on May 12 and 19.
