Alison is a familiar face on social media and on the podium, showcasing her love for movement through dancing, riding, and outdoor activities. Her passion for staying active is contagious, and she has had some notable successes in her career so far. In 2023, Alison achieved a significant milestone by winning the Paris-Roubaix race after a breakaway effort that she maintained from the early stages of the race. The following month, she also secured victory at the Canadian road race national championships in her home province of Alberta. With a wealth of experience under her belt, including competing in nine world championships and participating in the Olympics, Alison has proven herself as a formidable athlete. In 2021, she even secured a sixth-place finish in the world championships.

Despite her impressive track record of wins, Alison values teamwork and contributing to the overall success of her team more than individual accolades. Her upbringing on a farm in Vermilion, Alberta, instilled in her a strong work ethic and a sense of camaraderie. As a child, she was constantly engaging in physical activities and sports, fostering her natural athletic abilities. From swimming to gymnastics to hiking in the Himalayas, Alison never shied away from a challenge. It was during her time on the farm that she stumbled upon an old bicycle left behind by a former farmhand, sparking her interest in cycling. Today, she continues to channel her insatiable curiosity and determination into pushing her boundaries on the bike, always striving to see how far she can go.
