Cairo: “Al Khaleej” Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade in Egypt, has announced that the Ministry has implemented plans to establish a strategic reserve of essential commodities. He stated that a contract has been signed to purchase 500,000 tons of sugar, which will be delivered gradually. In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, efforts to secure basic commodities and expand the strategic reserve were discussed.
