Embracing Nature: Motorola Edge 50 Ultra featuring Real Wood Back and Top Hardware

Motorola has introduced the new Edge 50 line of phones, aiming to cater to both the middle and top class of smartphones. The lineup includes the Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Fusion, and Edge 50 Pro models. Along with these phones, Motorola also unveiled the new Moto Buds Plus headphones.

The Edge 50 Ultra, the most powerful of the three models, features a real wood back option along with vegan leather. It is equipped with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 6.7-inch Super HD pOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a Pantone color certificate. The device supports 125W charging, 50W wireless charging, and has IP68 resistance. It comes with a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 64MP telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera.

The Edge 50 Pro is slightly narrower and powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It features a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Edge 50 Fusion, on the other hand, has a lower resolution screen and is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen2. It comes with a 32MP front camera and supports 68W charging.

Motorola also introduced the HelloUX interface with a new design that is more assistive with Moto AI, making it easier for users to navigate their devices. The Edge 50 Ultra will be priced at 999 euros, the Edge 50 Pro at 700 euros (promotional price at 549 euros), and the Edge 50 Fusion at around 350 euros. These devices will be available for sale in the coming weeks.
