Emma Corrin is a British actress who has won Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards, as well as being nominated for SAG and Emmy Awards. She was the guest on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast this week. The interview was recorded in front of a group of film students at Chapman University. During the podcast, Corrin discussed her iconic portrayal of Princess Diana on the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown, where she played the royal figure from age 16 to 28. She also talked about her personal journey and her performance in the FX limited series A Murder at the End of the World.

In A Murder at the End of the World, created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, Corrin plays the character Darby Hart in two different time periods. The first shows Darby as an amateur detective investigating cold-case murders with her then-boyfriend Bill. The second follows Darby in the present day as an acclaimed author who attends a billionaire’s retreat where Bill, now a famous artist, is found dead. This sets off a very personal mystery for Darby to solve.

Aside from her work in A Murder at the End of the World, Corrin has also starred in films such as My Policeman and Lady Chatterley’s Lover in 2022. She will be seen in upcoming projects like Deadpool & Wolverine and Nosferatu.
